How are trustees appointed?+
Trustees are selected for proven leadership and integrity across public service, development, finance, and research. Appointments are made by the board and reviewed against the skills the mission needs.
Is the leadership independent of delivery?+
Yes. The board and advisory council are independent of day-to-day programme delivery, so oversight and advice are honest, impartial, and free of conflicts of interest.
Do trustees and advisors get paid?+
Serving on the board and advisory council is voluntary and unpaid. Expenses directly incurred in governance work are reimbursed.
How is the organisation held accountable?+
Through annual reporting, independent assurance, published evidence, and accessible safeguarding and whistleblowing channels — including a way to raise concerns without prejudice.
How do I raise a governance concern?+
Concerns can be raised confidentially through the safeguarding channel on our contact page. Reports are treated seriously and without retaliation.
